I hit a nice UFC underdog last night with Marlon Vera roughing up Rob Font in a decisive victory. The second round of the playoffs starts this afternoon after all eight favourites won their first-round matchups.

Can the Celtics knock the defending champs in a seven-game series? I suspect they can. No team is playing better than the Celtics right now. Boston put on a defensive masterclass against Brooklyn in round one. The challenges of guarding Giannis instead of Durant will be different yet equally challenging.
But for me the difference right now between these two teams is in the absence of Khris Middleton. I am certain they do not win the championship last year without him and he will be badly missed in this series. The Celtics are not only playing great but are also 100% healthy for the moment which is a key factor for any championship run. The return of Robert Williams into the lineup makes the Celtics a dominant force regardless of their opponent.
Jayson Tatum was the best player in their first-round series against the Nets outplaying Kevin Durant. He has the opportunity to do the same against Giannis to establish himself as a premier superstar in the NBA. I think he is up to the challenge to at least match him blow for blow.
