I had a nice double Best bet day yesterday with two easy wins on the UFC London card. Both Tom Aspinall and Arnold Allen got first-round stoppages in front of the big hometown crowd. Let’s keep that momentum going with another winner in the NBA this afternoon.
NBA: Pacers (-8) Vs Trail Blazers $$
The Trail Blazers are an absolute disaster right now. Firstly Damian Lillard has already missed most of the season. Team management traded away CJ McCollum and Norman Powell. Simons and Nurkic are now also done for the season. Two of the main pieces acquired in trade are now also out in Bledsoe and Winslow. This current version of the Blazers bares absolutely no resemblance to the team that made the playoffs just last season.
Portland has now lost 9 of their past 10 games. Most of those losses were not even competitive and they lost 8 of them by 20+ or more points. Not even big spreads seem to be helping the Blazers right now and I do not have confidence they can keep this game competitive.
The Pacers are a team that can score in bunches. This matchup has a high total of 236 which suggests the possibility of a blowout is even higher than normal. The (-8) line is big for an Indiana team that is below (.500), but I see them covering it easily against the rookie/journeyman lineup Portland counter with today.
