The Thunder could not keep it close against the Jazz last night dropping my NBA best bets to 28-14 (66.7%).
Best Bet: Raptors (+1.5) Vs 76ers $$
This is a potential first-round matchup we could see starting just next week. Sixers fans should be terrified at this prospect because this is a nightmare matchup for them. I would suggest that the Raptors are the better of these two teams and should be the favourites not only in this matchup but in a seven-game series.
The Raptors are locked into the 5th spot right now and a loss for the 76ers would drop them into the 4th spot setting up this matchup in the first round. Toronto has already won 2 of 3 previous games already this season and I seriously question why they are underdogs at home tonight. Overall Toronto is 8-5 for the season against the four teams ahead of them in the standing which suggests they have the potential of knocking off any one of them in the playoffs.
I am not a James Harden fan nor am I convinced he brings added value to Philadelphia since the blockbuster trade. There are still intangibles about the Sixers that are preventing them from taking the next step towards their goal of becoming NBA champions. This game could be a serious wake-up call for them that they still are not ready as a franchise.
The Raptors should get this win tonight and I like them to upset the Sixers in the playoffs as well.
