NBA Best Bet – April 3rd, 2022

Best Bet

The Pelicans got a huge win in LA on Friday night to solidify the 10th spot in the NBA’s western conference. They covered the two-point spread with a couple of late free throws improving my best bets to 27-12 (69.2%) on the season.

Best Bet: Pelicans (-2.5) @ Clippers $$

Paul George made his way back into the Clipper’s lineup last week after missing over three months of action scoring 34 points and leading his team to a big comeback over the Jazz. George sat out the team’s last game in Milwaukee and they managed a crazy 153 points against the defending champs.

Regardless of all this good news for the Clippers, I still do not see them as contenders in the western conference this year. They are still too inconsistent and they have overperformed most of the season to remain in playoff contention.

The Pelicans continue to get clutch wins down the stretch as the team is finally healthy. They face the Clippers tonight which could end up being the preview of a play-in game for the final playoff spot. I have been impressed how NO has played lately and I still think they can win this same game in a couple of weeks to claim the invite to face Phoenix in round one.
