NFL: Packers/Lions Over (48.5) $

Aaron Rodgers possibly had his worst start of his HOF career in week 1 of the 2021 season. He went 15/28 for 133 and 2 Ints before pulling pulled for backup Jordan Love in a 38-3 loss to the Saints. I don’t know exactly what happened in this matchup, but personally I am going to blame his new hair style with the long flowing locks and bad beard. What else could cause one of the best QBs in the history of the NFL to play so badly?

All joking aside, I am willing to give Aaron a pass for one game as he certainly has earned it. But I will be the first off the Packer band wagon if this train starts going south. Aaron’s heart just does not seem to be into football this season. I do expect him to rebound tonight as this Packers were the highest scoring team in the NFL last year averaging 31.8 points per game, but this is this year.

Tonight the Packers may have gotten a blessing by facing a bad Lions defence and I do expect them to get back over 31 points. The Lions gave up 38 points to the 49ers last in just 3 quarters before starting a furious comeback attempt that fell just short. That Lion’s game last week saw 74 total points scored crushing the total.

All signs points toward high scoring game tonight and the total of 48.5 seems a bit low to me.
