NFL: Cardinals (-2.5) Vs Rams $$
The Rams do not have a victory against a team with a winning record since week 3 Vs the Bucs. If you recall at the time, the Rams were considered a Super Bowl Contender. Since that game game, the Rams have been very mediocre and have really only excelled at beating bad teams. A bad team is not the challenge they have in front of them tonight traveling to Phoenix taking on Kyler Murray and the division leading Cardinals.
The Cardinals have been solid on both sides of the ball this season and I see no reason why they will regress tonight at home on Monday night against a divisional rival. In fact, I have a hard time understand why this line is so low as I would have made it 5 or 6 points myself.
The Rams are still far too reliant on their passing game and Stafford has shown a propensity for tunnel vision on key receivers this season. This makes them too predictable and good defences can scheme pressure and lock down Cooper Kupp. One dimensional offences in the NFL really only work in the NFL if your QB’s name is Brady or Rodgers. While I like Stafford, he is not in that company.
The Cardinals are the better more well rounded team playing at home on Monday night laying less than three points. It’s an easy pick for me.
