Free NCAAF Picks – Week 2 Late

NCAAF

NCAAF: Arkansas (+7) @ Vs Texas $

This is a late line move with the number moving up to 7 from 6.5. All of the money was coming in on the Longhorns early and the bookies were forced to bring the number up.

Texas has a history of laying eggs in week 1 and every one is talking about how Texas ‘is back’, but I am going to wait until I see them rack up a few quality wins before I am ready to anoint them contenders once again. RB Bijon Robinson is a stud and could be the best back in NCAAF this year so the Texas ground game will be tough to stop.

Now having said all the that, laying 7 points on the road against a SEC West team is always going to be a tough task. Arkansas has a tough defence that is returning many key players from last year. They are used to playing top NFL prospects in their tough conference schedule.

This will not be an easy day for they Longhorns in a crazy sold out crazy. That with the line move to the key 7 points, I’ll take the Razorbacks to at least get the cover.

NCAAF: Pittsburgh (-3.5) @ Tennessee $

Tennessee has not been a quality team in many years and they are sure to be one of the weaker teams in the SEC East this year.

Panthers are certainly a team on a rise. QB Kenny Pickett for Pitt had a big day last week against MASS and I expect more of the same against the Volunteers. Playing a SEC road game is never an easy chore as I previously stated, but the Panthers are clearly the better team in this matchup and I like the to get the victory today.

NCAAF: Oregon/ Ohio St Over (64) $

The more I think about this game and the less I like my previous pick of the Buckeyes covering the big (-14.5) line. But I do like like them to put up a big number on offence, likely as many as 49 points themselves.

The Ohio St defence has not been good and the Ducks should be able to run the ball effectively and could put up 30+ points themselves. This game could easily be shootout with scores on nearly every possession. 64 is a big total, but the game should be a slugfest.
