NCAAF: South Carolina (PK) @ Missouri $$
The Missouri Tigers have been absolutely horrid this year. I have them rated only slightly ahead of Vanderbilt where the managed their only conference win so far this year. They are offering up nearly 300 yards rushing per game in conference play and frankly couldn’t stop your momma from crossing the street.
The Gamecocks have’t been great this year either, but they are coming off a high quality win against Florida last week covering the spread by a ridiculous 41 points. They will at least have abundant confidence after that big upset. I’m not asking them to cover a big point spread in this matchup, they just need to win a game on the road against an inferior opponent.
I am slightly concerned about letdown for the Gamecocks, but they should find enough success moving they ball against a bad MIZZ defence to find a victory.
NCAAF: Arkansas (+2.5) @ LSU $$
This is another play against against a traditionally good team who are currently underperforming. I feel LSU gave their best effort of the season attempting to knock off Alabama last and were nearly successful. The Tigers will likely need this game to become bowl eligible, but I just do not think they are good enough to get it done. LSU has been punched in the mouth several times already this season and simply lack the talent of previous years. I also question the coaching staff and wonder if Ed Orgeron still has control and the respect of his players.
The Razorbacks are the better team in this matchup and I expect them to dominate the offensive line and run the ball effectively against the Tigers. Losing becomes easier the more you do it and LSU is now accustom to doing so. When the battles get tough in the trenches, I think they are going to fold to the pressure Arkansas puts on them.
You can take the 2.5 points but I’ll likely take the money line at (+120) for at least half of this wager.
NCAAF: Oklahoma St (-13) Vs TCU $
I really like this Cowboys team and plan on riding them all they way to the BIG 12 conference championship. Spoiler alert: I will be picking them to beat the to beat Oklahoma the final week of the season almost regardless of what happens the next couple weeks or what the line is. If Oklahoma St does manage to win out including the championship game, they should find a playoff game as a reward.
The Frogs are below average Big 12 team coming off a big upset over Baylor last week. I do not expect them to pull this off two weeks in a row as they are likely to overwhelmed by the talent differential and a hostile crowd. A three score win by the Cowboys this week seems likely.
