Free NCAAF Picks – Early Week 10, 2021

NCAAF

NCAAF: Utah (-7.5) @ Stanford $

This is the Friday night game so don’t miss it if you want to get action down and watch.

Stanford hasn’t played a good game since their big win against Oregon over a month ago already. The Cardinal also upset USC early this year as 18 point dogs, so it’s as if they fell their season is already a success even if they don’t win again all season.

The Utes have a tough well balanced offence that should move the ball against Stanford without much difficulty. They continue improving as the season progresses which will reach a climax in two weeks when they host Oregon in a game I fully expect them to win. They have an exhibition game next week against Arizona so I don’t expect this to be a let down spot for Utah as they will be looking to lay a beating on Stanford.

NCAAF: Minnesota (-14.5) Vs Illinois $

I’ve been backing the Gophers all season as I love their ability to run the ball while dominating the line of scrimmage. This should be an easy win for them against the Illini who got their one big win against Penn St a couple weeks ago. Illinois was able to win that game by winning the line of scrimmage against Penn who have problems running the ball to start.

This sets up as a bad mismatch stylistically against the Gophers who will not be bullied at the line of scrimmage by any team, certainly not Illinois. I would be happier if this line was under 10 points, but even at -14.5, I feel there is still value making another bet on Minnesota this week.

NCAAF: Wake Forrest (+2.5) @ N Carolina $$$

Talk about a team that gets no respect… the Demon Deacons are the Rodney Dangerfield’s of NCAAF. All they have done so far is go a perfect 8-0 and are the odds on favourites right now to win the suddenly weak ACC. Sam Hartman has been a stud this year with 22 TDs and only 3 picks. A likely scenario for the Deacons is facing Pittsburgh in the ACC Championship game and even with a victory there, would not receive enough respect to get into the playoff picture.

This week they travel to Chapel Hill taking on the grossly overrated Tar Heels who could not stop your grandma from crossing the street. UNC very well may need to score 50+ for a victory in this matchup (but they very well could do just that). The total for this game is currently 76.5 and I doubt there will be many takers on that under.

There is no way the Tar Heels are the better team in this matchup. I will be taking the free points and be grateful for the linemaker’s gift. Wake should move the ball almost at will in this game and rolling to a 49-38 win.

I was 3-1 in my premium plays last week and am 5-1 for the season. This is my first premium play of the week but there will be more in my late NCAAF release tomorrow.

I went an incredible 19-8 (70%) last week including a perfect afternoon ticket of 6-0 +14.6 units. This week is shaping up as another fantastic card so be sure to check out my Daily Picks page for the rest of NCAAF & NFL picks for this week. Good luck and game on.
