NBA: Cavaliers (+3.5) Vs TimberWolves $

This line immediately seemed off with the Cavaliers listed as home dogs against an inferior team. This line has been adjusted because of the absence of three guards for the Cavailers, Darius Garland, Caris Levert, and Rajon Rondo. I backed this same lineup a couple nights ago as Cleveland hosted the Wizards. They manged to win the game but did not find the cover.

This line should nirmally be about 4 or 5 points in favour of the Cavaliers at home. The question then becomes is the roughly 8 point adjustment justified? I would suggest not and that this is an overreaction to the Cavliers injuries. Levert is a fairly new addition to this squad and should not have a major impact on the line. Rondo being out my not even be a negative at all. Garland is a major hole that is not easily replaced, but not even he should not move this line so drastically.

This matchup has the potential of being a tight, low scoring game. The point spread could be quite valuable so there should be value with the home dogs here.

NBA: Heat (-4) Vs Bulls $

This is a great matchup between the top two teams in the eastern conference.

Kyle Lowry is out once again for personal reasons. Seriesously how many personal days does anyone need when you are making $27 million a year? Luckily for the Heat, they do not seem to miss him at all because Tyler Herro is just as good anyway. The Heat are peaking at the right time of the year and this is an excellent opportunity for them to show it.

The Bulls are playing well despite still dealing with some key injuries. Nikola Vucevic is probable for this game. but is dealing with an ankle injury. Ball and Caruso remain out for the Bulls which has hurt this team. So far DeMar DeRozan has been up to the challenge carrying his team. But for me, the Bulls are still too reliant on just one player to get a road victory against at top calibre team such as the Heat.
