NBA: 76ers (-7) @ Raptors $$
This is kind of getting ridiculous. The Raptors now have 12 players listed as out for tonight’s home game against the 76ers including the entire starting lineup. How is any team suppose to be competitive under these conditions? I like this young and talented Raptor team and I look forward betting money on them latter this season. But this matchup seems destined for failure.
The Sixers have a couple of pieces currently out as well but the core of the team is intact. The should take care of this game fairly easily.
NBA: Heat (-6) Vs Wizards $
Jimmy Butler is back in the lineup for the Heat and looks like he didn’t miss a beat with a good game Sunday against the Magic. His presence is a huge boost for the Heat who were finding wins even without him. Kyle Lowry is out tonight, but really they are nearly as good with Herro on the floor anyway.
The Wizards started the season hot at 10-3 but are 7-13 since then. This team turned ice cold and they are suffering with several key players currently out, none more important than Bradley Beal. But Caldwell-Pope and several bench players are out as well. Despite their good start, I do not see the Wizards returning to the playoffs this season. The Wizards will be in tough tonight against a solid Heat team at hone.
