Free NBA Picks – April 3rd, 2022

NBA

The Pelicans got a huge win in LA on Friday night to solidify the 10th spot in the NBA’s western conference. They covered the two point spread with a couple late free throws improving my best bets to 27-12 (69.2%) on the season.

I have a best bet for tonight on one of the late games set for release one hour prior to tip-off. Check back to my Daily Picks page for updates or sign up for my Newsletter to get all my best bets delivered directly to your inbox.

NBA: Mavericks (+6.5) @ Bucks $

The Mavericks fell asleep in their last game in Washington losing badly to the lowly Wizards who couldn’t miss all night. The Mavericks are on a tear in the second half of the season so I can give them a pass for one night. I expect a rebound performance from them tonight in a key matchup against the defending champs.

The Bucks rested several of their starters in their last game against the Clippers. The Buck’s bench team gave up an embarrassing 153 points at home in that game. That was enough for me to question the lack of talent the Bucks have come off the bench. Milwaukee should prey that do not face any serious injuries as they head into the playoffs or their chances of repeating will be slim.

This is an early afternoon game that should be entertaining. It should be a hard-fought game and I like getting the extra points in these types of matchups.

NBA: Magic (+5) Vs Knicks $

These are two teams with nothing really to play for. I am not a big Knicks fan and I see no reason why they should be such big favourites on the road especially considering they are missing two key starters in Randle and Noel. This line should be closer to a pick’em instead of five points.

NBA: Thunder (+14.5) Vs Suns $

This is a matchup between the NBA’s best team and the second-worst. But the thing most people do not realize is the Thunder have been the best team in the league viewed against the spread. OKC is almost an automatic play when receiving double digits this season and this is no exception. Their roster is i shambles, yet they continue finding ways to lose games and get covers.

Meanwhile, the Suns have begun their coasting into the playoffs as they begin resting key players. Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Jae Crowder are all out for rest for this matchup. The Sun’s bench will play much of this nothing game so I see no reason for this line to still be soo high. I will be taking the big points.

NBA: Rockets (+13.5) Vs Timberwolves $

This is just another late-season line that seems unreasonably high. The Wolves are playing well heading towards their play-in game but have started cooling down recently. The Rockets are not a good team but have shown signs of being more competitive in the last couple of weeks. This would be a nice upset for them today, but they should at least keep this game close.
