NBA: Celtics (-6) Vs Nuggets $

The Celtics made a couple of trades at the deadline that should make an immediate impact. Derrick White arrived from SA and leaving is Eric Schroder. Although these players were not involved in the same trade, these are the biggest changes the Celtics made. This is a nice upgrade getting White as he is coming into a better situation in Boston. He will not be asked to be even the second option, unlike in SA, and can focus on a support role.

Boston was already playing well including a current 6 game winning streak. The Celtics have been absolutely stifling on the defence of late, holding their opponent under 100 points in 7 of their last 10 games. The Nuggets are a decent team but really lack the depth to be considered a contender.

I like the Celtics to get the win in this contest and don’t feel (-6) is too large a premium for the cover.
