NBA: Bulls (-5.5) @ Hawks $$
The Hawks are the most recent team to be decimated by league quarantine. I could only find five players on the Hawks depth chart that are listed as available for this matchup, including starters Bogdanovic and Capela and Reddish of the bench. I do not know who is going to full out the rest of the the squad for the Hawks tonight but frankly I am surprised this game is being played.
The Bulls were hit by the bug also but do welcome back LaVine and DeRozan for this matchup and are now only missing Lonzo Ball from their starting lineup. The Bulls should feast on backups and temporary players offered up in sacrifice tonight.
NBA: Grizzlies (+8) @ Suns $
The Grizzlies are too good of a team to be offering (+8) points in any situation this season. The have the deepest Bech in the NBA and this week they also welcome back Ja Morant from a knee injury. I love the direction this team is taking and they should make a run at a high playoff seeding this year. They are without Melton and Brooks for this matchup for the depth of this team can make up the difference with John Konchar likely stepping up wth more minutes.
The Suns are mostly intact tonight but will be without key defensive player Jae Crowder for this matchup. The Suns are the favourites to repeat as Western conference champs, but this game should be a slugfest and a potential playoff preview.
I’ll take the younger and hungrier team getting the big points for the upset.
