MLB: A’s Irvin / Blue Jays Ray Under (9) $

Robbie Ray has been just pitching out of his mind this year and he will certainly get some Cy Young consideration. A 2.71 ERA and 1.01 Whip is exceptional but his most impressive stat is the 202 Ks in just 159 innings. It is unfortunate the Blue Jays will not be around for the playoffs and give Robbie a chance to shine in big time.

The line for the Blue Jays has shot up today to (-210) and I do not want to lay such a heavy price for this inconsistent TOR team. I’ll take the Under instead with Cole Irvin on the mound for OAK. Cole has been solid all season for the A’s and as long as he gets into the 6th or 7th inning, this game will be close and low scoring.

You have to ignore the fact these two teams have pounded out 39 runs in the first two games of this series. This is an independent event and a different pitching matchup. The outburst in the last couple games is the reason this total isn’t (8.5) or even (8). Close your eyes and take the value.

MLB: Rays Patino (-210) Vs Twins Jax $

It’s a new a day but it is another pick on the Rays. Yes they are still the best team in baseball and yes the Twins are terrible. (-210) seems like a bargain to me to get the best hitting team in MLB at home against a bad team with a struggling rookie pitcher on the mound.

Luis Patino hasn’t been great for TB, but even if he struggles early, I am still confident the Rays can score enough runs to make a comeback.
