MLB: Indians Quantrill (+162) @ Red Sox Eovaldi $

Cal Quantrill has been pitching great lately getting deep into games and I have backed him a few times in the past month. The Indians have quietly won four in a row after sweeping KC. They still are far away from an actual wild card spot, but maybe there is hope for next year.

Red Sox surprised me and took their last two games in TB. The clubhouse is still in turmoil however with the recent positive tests and 8 players/coaches out. Eovaldi has been good as well, so I do not want to bash him, but the teams seem real close at the moment.

The (+162) seems just a bit too high for these two evenly matched teams.

MLB: Twins Dobnak / Rays Wacha Over (9) $

The Rays got shut out at home by the Red Sox last night which is highly unusual for this team that leads MLB in runs scored. I look for them to get back on the board tonight against a really soft Twins pitching staff.

Randy Dobnak brings his 7.83 ERA and 1.65 Whip into this matchup and there is a real chance he gets lit up tonight. I would put an O/U on TB at around 7, so getting over the total of (9), doesn’t look too difficult. The Rays could certainly score 9 themselves so if the Twins get any runs at all, this could be over early.
