MLB: Blue Jays [-124] (Berrios) @ White Sox (Lynn) $
The Blue Jays are coming off a huge come-from-behind win over the Yankees last night busting the Yankee’s nine-game win streak.
Toronto trailed that game 8-3 in the sixth inning before getting a grand slam from Lourdes Gurriel followed by a three-run shot from Teoscar Hernandez to take a 10-8 lead. Romano got the final 5 outs for the Jays to cap a highly emotional win. This is precisely the type of win I look for when looking to back a team in their next game. They are full of confidence and they should continue that emotion heading into the three-game set in Chicago.
Jose Berrios has been solid of late and I am looking for another quality start from him tonight. Lance Lynn is coming off his season debut last week after a knee injury delayed the start of his season. He allowed 10 hits in four innings in that outing so not a good start to the season for the 35-year-old starter. Let’s see if the big Blue Jay bats can get to him early.
